One Sunday afternoon, I decided to bake a cake with Mum's handmade orange peel slept freezed for weeks. It was just the size of the plate which I never knew how to use, and the gold edge was fine with again Mum's hand painted tea cups.
Butter had been short these recent months. I was wondering what sweets I can make without using butter and there I found a recipe using olive oil instead; choux a la creme!
I forgot to buy fresh cream so served with vanilla icecream. Cocoa powder can hide their irregular shapes. It can be replaced with a frost of icing sugar.
